Australian Schools Teams Racing Championship
8th July to 12th July 2026 at Sandy Bay Sailing Club
This July, the 2026 Australian Secondary Schools Teams Racing Championship invites the country’s best school teams to take on a unique challenge from 8–12 July 2026.
Set on the River Derwent and hosted by Sandy Bay Sailing Club, this national championship will bring together top secondary school sailors for fast-paced, tactical team racing in a true championship environment. With short-course racing, umpired matches, every race will demand sharp decision-making, communication, and teamwork.
Tasmania is known for producing resilient, adaptable sailors, and the Derwent delivers conditions that reward those who can think quickly and sail smart. Expect a wide range of conditions, tight racing, and an atmosphere that balances high-level competition with strong sportsmanship and camaraderie.
For interstate teams, this is more than just a regatta — it’s an opportunity to represent your school on a national stage, build team racing experience, and be part of an event that challenges and rewards in equal measure.
Join us in Sandy Bay. Sail smart. Race as a team.
